The 6 Ultimate Street Fashion Photographers and Bloggers

Anytime I can combine both fashion and photography together I instantaneously become ecstatic. Fashion has been an immense passion of mine for as long as I can recall. Working in the fashion industry was what I was been doing most of my professional career before photography became an extensive part of my everyday life. I have always admired fashion photography from my early teenage years and shared some of my favorite fashion photographers in a previous blog post, My 7 All-Time Favorite Fashion & Celebrity Photographers. If I could, I would eat, sleep, and breathe fashion and combine it with my more recent admiration for photography to form the quintessential amalgamation of my two loves. Having worked in the fashion industry for most of my adulthood, I have always been captivated by street fashion photographers showcasing some of the most stylish people from across the globe. In my last weeks post, What I Learned Being Stuck At Home: Self Portraits – Part 1, I actually attempted to combine my love for both fashion and photography in a self-portrait/dress-up photoshoot for the first time.

Michel D'oultremont interview

iLHP: Hi Michel, I am very pleased and honored to be able to interview you for our online magazine. Indeed, as some might not know already, you just won at the end of 2014, two of the most prestigious wildlife photography prizes! (the Rising Star Award of the BBC Wildlife of London and the Fritz Polking Nachwuchspreis from the GDT of Lunen for photographers under 23). So I am very glad to showcase your photographs here! To start with, can you just tell us a little bit about you?

Michel: Hi, well thanks for inviting me in this magazine. What can I say ? I was born in 1992, in a very small village in the country side of Belgium drowned in a beautiful intact nature. I was very lucky to grow up among animals and little by little I became passionate about them.

Cities at Night from Space

If there is one type of photography I most want to explore, it would have to be astro photography.  I don’t just mean taking photos of galaxies and nebulae from a mountain top with a telescope adapter, but I mean actually taking photos while floating in space. As a mere earthbound mortal, I’m not sure if commercial space exploration will be available in my life time. But in the meantime, we can live vicariously through the photos taken by the lucky astronauts in the International Space Station.

How many cities do you recognize? What does your home town look like at night?
